Private Chef

Mike has cheffed all over the world from pasta joints in Buffalo, hotels in New Zealand, Michelin-starred restaurants in the Faeroes to cruise ships in the Caribbean and South China Sea. His eat-your-environment ethos of cooking has evolved from all this experience as well as research into fermentation, ancestral eating and research into the current state of the global food system and is now taking form at Cedarwood Homestead.
A big fan of more unusual foods and styles of eating Mike can put together a great, bespoke menu for your occasion - ideally introducing some more theatrical elements such as cold smoking or cooking over fire.
Canapes are a particular favourite and multi-course events for smaller groups always work really well. He's also happy to incorporate some interaction in the form of teaching and demonstrating techniques as he cooks for you.
