Signed Print by Suffolk artist and weaver Katie Green

Kelling Heath is one of our favourite places. We visit several times a year but always make sure to visit in autumn for the great annual Fungi hunt. In 2018 my son Thomas decided to draw a scene looking from Kelling Heath forest to Weybourne. I loved how he had thought of all aspects of the view and about the nature that is at the root of all of it. In his sketch you can see an old penny buried in the ground with the worms and the mycelium of the fungi. The flowering parts of the fungi, fly agaric, puffballs, tree fungi and amethyst deceiver are next with the steam train making its way to Holt. Behind that you can see Weybourne with it lovely windmill and finally the wind turbines at sea. Thomas asked if I could turn this into a painting as it is such a special place. Here is my promise.

The original piece is Watercolour, collage, pen and pencil work and Gold and Silver leaf on paper and the signed print is 30x30cm in a 40x40cm white mount.
